Operating Instructions
A Poly-Choke
operates like the nozzle of a garden hose... Controlling the
shot, exactly as the nozzle controls the water. It provides nine
degrees of choke... Xtra-full Choke to two settings past
Cylinder Bore (Spreader Choke). Note: the Xtra-full setting on the
sleeve is used for both Xtra-full Open and Xtra-full choke
performance. Your Poly-Choke is set at Xtra-full choke when you
receive it. Before moving the sleeve, be sure to check the various
sleeve settings as shown above.
Always start at the tightest Xtra-full choke
setting,
Tightening the
sleeve down as far as possible. When fully tightened the Xtra-full
mark will be just past the sight. Loosen the sleeve slightly,
to align sight arrow. Now the choke is set to deliver its
tightest patterns for longer ranges. |

Poly-Choke Cleaning Instructions
The Poly-Choke must be disassembled and
cleaned every time you clean your barrel. Powder buildup can effect
the performance of the choke. The cleaner the choke the better
1.
Always unload all guns before cleaning.
2.
Remove the sleeve portion of the choke (this is the adjustable
portion of the choke). Remove by turning the sleeve clockwise, with
the gun stock closest to you.
3.
Clean the fingers of the element and the threads of both parts. Use
a cleaning brush and solvent, to remove all powder build up. Be
sure to remove all particles from the slots in the element and wipe
down with a clean rag.
4.
Oil the threads on the element and sleeve. To protect and lube the
choke, lightly oil the threads with gun oil. Never grease or use
heavy oils on the choke.
5.
Reassemble the choke. Screw the sleeve counter clockwise on the
element until it stops at the setting Xtra-full choke. It is
important to tighten the sleeve completely. This may take five
revolutions.
Xtra-full is your
tightest pattern setting.
6. Turn sleeve clock wise to desired setting. Now you are ready for
the field.
